Outriders is a shooter with RPG elements for 1–3 players created by People Can Fly, the same developers behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Both of the titles were also good. And from what it looks like, Outriders Demo also will be another smashing hit from the developers. But every success brings a problem. This time, the problems are the servers. The servers are completely broken after such huge player numbers trying to download the demo.
“To cut a long story short, while our planned-for infrastructure was ready for the raw number of total expected players, the speed with which those players were joining the demo during those first few hours surpassed even our expectations,” the Reddit submission explained. “So, while our backend systems scaled automatically and according to player population demand, they were unable to scale fast enough at the time.” Says the developers about the Outriders Demo.
This is not everything about the Outriders Demo. Because the developers are still tweaking the demo. A tiny number of cheaters have been plaguing the game’s populace. Thus, the studio People Can Fly is working hard to find a solution for these minor problems. They are also working really hard to develop the full game. So we can say that they have hard times nowadays.
