The Outer Worlds won’t have microtransactions, Obsidian says

Obsidian Entertainment -company behind Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity- is developing a new game called The Outer Worlds. This sci-fi RPG game has announced The Game Awards 2018. After announcement people got excited about the game, and some people were curious about microtransactions. Obsidian confirms there will be no microtransactions in the game.

The Outer Worlds will have no microtransactions

The Outer Worlds is Obsidian Entertainment’s new game. Timothy Cain and Leonard Boyarsky -creators of original Fallout- are leading developer team. And team has some members from developer team of Fallout: New Vegas.

Gamestar made an interview with Timoty Cain last week and asked to developer about microtransactions. Timothy Cain confirmed there will be no microtransactions in The Outer Worlds; “You will buy it once and then can enjoy it forever.”

This is a good news for all gamers. In recent years, almost every game has microtransactions. It seems so The Outer Worlds  and Obsidian won’t join this flow. What do you think about that? Do you wait for The Outer Worlds?
