GIST|DC includes professional talks, workshops and hands-on training options. The conference opens from January 30th to February 1st. Interested speakers are invited to send their application via this link.

GIST 2020 will see new partnerships with the University Game Developers Association (UNOG) and the #KalkGel Influencer Team. This company of high-profile gaming influencers with a total reach of 4.5 million viewers on social media channels was signed official influencer marketing team of GIST 2020 and will promote the event as well as interested exhibitors during offline events and streaming slots.

“The gaming world is rapidly changing”, says Cevher Eryurek, Project Director of GIST. “So, are we. In order to create the best gaming event experience for our Turkish gamers and international gaming professionals, we follow the global trends. The next GIST edition will focus more on esports and tournaments, as well as the gaming influencer content and shows. Our new partnerships with UNOG, Global Game Jam and #KalkGel Influencer Team add new value for our B2B and B2C exhibitors, participants and visitors. We have always been supporting our exhibitors with our marketing power in the past editions. This year, we’ve added a massive influencer and university support to the package. I can gladly say GIST has become the main hub for Eurasian gaming and community as we projected.”

In just four short years, Gaming Istanbul has grown to almost 100 exhibitors in the B2C, B2B and indie areas in 2019. Overall, developers and companies from 20 countries came to showcase their latest games and products to a large crowd of visitors and more than 2.300 trade attendees. These numbers cement Gaming Istanbul position as the largest gaming event in the region fulfilling its mission statement of “building the gaming bridge of Eurasia”.

As in 2019, GIST 2020 will open its doors Eurasia Show & Art Center, right next to Hagia Sophia, the Yerebatan Cistern, the Old Palace, and other historical locations from the Byzantine Era.
