Need for Speed Heat has officially gone gold

Ben Walke, Global Community Manager at Electronic Arts announced the news via his Twitter. Walker stated that the Need for Speed Heat’s development cycle is over and it is waiting to be made into discs.

EA’s upcoming entry to the Need for Speed franchise was announced back in August. The first trailer showed Need for Speed Heat turning back to the franchise’s roots with car customization and underground night races. Ghost Games also has stated that the upcoming title with not have loot boxes. This seemed the most reasonable move so far with the Need for Speed Heat considering the backlash EA has gotten through its microtransactions over the years. Walke also stated that Heat’s system requirements for PC will be announced next week. Need for Speed Heat will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on November 8, 2019.
