Our fellow kids are not in Hawkins anymore
Even though it has been only 3 months since season 3's release, Netflix, the Stranger Things developers, announced the season 4. While they gave no info on the release date, they clearly showed the popular series new direction. Brand new teaser closed out with a statement saying, "We're not in Hawkins anymore." This also means that Netflix renewed their contracts with the famous series directors Duffer Brothers in the long term. Series executive producer/director Shawn Levy took on Instagram to announce the news.
Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos also touched on the announcement. "The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love. We can’t wait to see what The Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down."
