Batman Day celebrated
If you are of the opinion that there are not enough days set aside to celebrate fictional vigilantes, who dress up as flying creatures in order to tackle crime, then we agree with you. Fortunately, there is one such date set aside every year Batman Day.
The purpose of Batman Day is to celebrate the anniversary of the character’s first-ever appearance, which was in Detective Comics 27 way back in May 1939.
September 16 was the Dark Knight’s 80th years. The celebration was sponsored by World’s Greatest Detective, DC and Warner Bros. On the celebration showed iconic Bat-Signal on the city walls. Early morning the volunteers running for 80th years celebration. Then at the night, Batman Day started. Millions of fans of all ages on the worldwide gathering for Dark Knight. Begining start with Melbourne and continue in Los Angeles.
Bat-Signal activations, Batman 5K night runs, talent signings and fan celebrations are highlighting DC’s annual Batman Day festivities, where the character and his stories are feted globally on a single day.
