Resident Evil 4 Remake Leaked by Ragnar Locker
Capcom is in trouble with the Ragna Locker Ransomware. The group shares a lot of data about the upcoming games. Which includes Resident Evil 4 Remake.
According to the leaks, Resident Evil 4 Remake is coming on 2022
The images were originally leaked on the dark web, but it wasn’t long before someone posted them on Imgur for the general audience. There are some eighty-odd images that reveal the numerous assets that will be used in the upcoming title.
Each image showcases the Front, Side, Perspective and the original concept for the asset. On the bottom left, you can see the file name. That follows the traditional naming convention for Static Meshes or ‘SM’ for short. These static meshes are then placed in different levels of the game by the level designers to create an immersive world.
Fortunately, these leaks don’t contain any spoilers. So you don’t have to worry about anything if you didn’t play the original version of Resident Evil 4 Remake. The remake version will most probably stick to the original story. So there are not many spoilers to leak here. However, not all the games are lucky as this. For instance, Resident Evil Village leak contains some spoilers about the story.
It looks like this will not be the last leak for Capcom. So we will have much more information floating around the internet. The company was a victim to a data breach wherein criminal organization Ragnar Locker publically leaked Capcom’s encrypted data. So everything is actually on Ragnar Locker’s hands. Capcom says that they are working hard to hinder this situation both in Japan and the United States. But so far, there is no good news about Capcom. We will see if Resident Evil 4 Remake will hit the stores in 2022. But from what it looks like, we still have a lot of time to see it.
