Oh no… They used a Hindustani sword in the cover art. Can’t they get anything right? It has a tulwar handle and a bifurcated “tegha” style blade. The sweep of the blade is too even to be Persian. If they’d just looked at some Persian swords they would NOT have used that style of handle, and the blade at least would have been less broad. Game developers and artists the word you’re looking for is “shamshir”. Look up Safavid and Abbasid shamshir swords, and model the weapon on that! PLEASE get it right for once.
