PS5 Design

Let’s start to All PS5 Article with the design. There were lots of speculations about the design of PS5, but we have seen it for the first time in the “Future of Gaming” event of Sony. The console officially revealed on June 11, 2020. We can see there are two different versions of PS5; a standard edition with a 4K Blu-ray disc drive and a slimmer version, PS5 Digital Edition.

Both of these designs have USB-C to charge their Dualsenses and accessories like an HD camera, PS5 wireless headset, and media remote. Media remote is a brand new accessory in the console world.

PlayStation consoles had always been flat. They had strict borders, and after PlayStation 2, they were all black. With PS5, Sony got rid of the classic design and created something new and different. Its black and white colours, curves, and blue lightning carried PS5 into somewhere else.

We didn’t expect to see The PS5 Digital Edition because it is entirely a new concept of console gaming. Since digital downloads have been getting more popular, it’s something innovative. Lots of people are buying their games online from PS Store or use codes. The PS5 Digital Edition will probably be cheaper than the standard one. But Sony also didn’t forget the hard copy collectors.

Playstation 5 Controller DualSense

It would not be helpful to mention the new Dualsense when we are talking about All PS5 Features. PlayStation controllers have always changed with the new consoles. But for PS5, Sony changed the entire DualShock definition by changing the name into DualSense. So, the new controller will not mention as DualShock5. Like system specs, we knew about the DualSense in advance.

DualSense matches with the new design of PS5 in terms of their colours and lines. We always had colours on the buttons of DualShock controllers. This one doesn’t have them.

DualSense has haptic feedback for L2 and R2 buttons which makes players feel the tension of their actions when they are drawing a bow to shoot an arrow. This feature also will let developers program even more realistic gameplay.

DualSense also has a microphone in it. On DualShock4, we had a new “Share” button. This new DualSense has a “Create” button, but its purpose isn’t different from the old share button. It will continue to share your gameplay with the world.

Playstation 5 Games

In addition to all the games below, it is confirmed by Sony that 4.000+ PS4 games will have backward compatibility. According to Mark Cerny’s statement, all of the top 100 PS4 games will support at launch. On June 11, we saw plenty of games that will launch for PS5, but that wasn’t all. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Quantum Error is a cosmic-horror FPS game which is developed by TeamKill Media. This dark-themed fantasy horror game’s release date is not specified.

Electronic Entertainment’s new Rainbow Six game is called Rainbow Six Quarantine. The game is a three-player co-op shooter with tactical action. It will be released sometime in 2020.

In the event “Future of Gaming”, Sony revealed new All PS5 features, like accessories with PS5 itself. Some of them are upgraded versions of old accessories, but some of them are brand new. We don’t know the details of these accessories, but still, Sony gave us a hint about them. All the accessories have futuristic lines similar to PlayStation 5 itself and their designs complete each other. So, to enhance your gaming experience, here are Sony PS5’s accessories.

HD Camera

Camera concept is not something new for the PlayStation franchise. But PS5 HD Camera will be the most powerful one of all. It has two different cameras that will allow streamers to show themselves. We also know that PlayStation’s new camera will support PSVR1, but we don’t have information about if it will help PSVR2.

Media Remote

This is something that we’ve never seen in gaming consoles. It will use for watching things on the console. PS5 Media Remote has a built-in microphone which allows voice command. I think this is one of the best accessories in All PS5 Features.

Pulse 3D Headset

The new headset will have 3D audio support as we can see from its name. It is also wireless and has a powerful noise cancellation.

Charging Dock

With Charging Dock, it will be possible to charge two DualSenses simultaneously without connecting them to PS5 with a cable.

We don’t know the details, prices and release dates yet. But we can be sure about Sony, who built PS5 as a supercomputer, will not disappoint us.

Playstation 5 Release Date & Price

Ok. We are at the end of the All PS5 Features article. There is a last one more thing to tell. And it is Playstation 5 Price and Release date. Playstation 5’s release date is still not precise. Sony confirmed that it would launch in Holiday 2020 (between October and December 2020), but we don’t know the exact date. Some leaks say it will come out on November 20. Now, we know almost everything about PS5, and we are only expecting to learn its official release date.

There are tons of rumours about the price tag of PlayStation 5. But Sony didn’t make any explanations about the price of the new-gen console. We expect it to be at 420 pounds. In the latest PS5 predictions sales from SBD’s estimate is on the optimistic side. The Nasdaq is already above its February 2020 level, and the Dow is climbing. Barring further the winter as mentioned earlier resurgence of COVID-19, expect significant sales from the console.
