EA dropping The Sims 4 32bit OS support this summer
If you are a fan of The Sims 4 and still using a 32-bit operating system, we have bad news for you. Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 4 is going to drop all content and patch support for 32-bit system in June 2019. So players who are playing the game in 32 bit Windows will not get any patch or update any longer. EA noted:
The Sims 4 32bit support
“We regularly evaluate our technologies, and to continue growing, improving, and optimizing the game, we have made the decision to retire 32-bit support. If you are a PC player who cannot update to a 64-bit OS, The Sims 4: Legacy Edition will be made available to you.”
So as EA noted, The Sims 4 Legacy Edition will be still available to download for old OS users. But all the online features such as The Gallery, Game Banners and Social integrations will be disabled.
