Age of Empires IV is Fully Playable Says The Manager
Back in 2017, Microsoft announced Age of Empires IV. And it was in development since then. Today we learn that the game is fully playable.
According to Shannon Norris, Age of Empires IV is already fully playable
As we said above, Age of Empires is in development since 2017. But in three years, no promising details came out eventually. We also don’t know when the game will eventually release. Players are eagerly waiting for a new title of Microsoft’s famous strategy title. Players are wondering when the game will eventually release and are wondering when they will get their hands on.
If you are one of the persons who like to hear some good news about Age of Empires IV, then we should give you the good news just before the new year. General manager Shannon Loftis has posted a year-end update on the franchise, and it seems AoE4 may be closer than you might think. According to Loftis, the game is in a fully playable state, and it sounds like the focus is now on polish and balance.
”We are making great progress on the Age of Empires IV. I don’t want to make you jealous, but we are literally playing this game every single day, both in Washington and in Vancouver. RTS development is funny. It takes a while to build the separate systems and then it takes a while for them to come together. But when they do, you suddenly have a game. A game that needs debugging and balance and polish, but the core of the game that you know you’re going to ship. And the best part is that it feels like an Age of Empires game.” says Loftis.
So we still don’t know the exact release date of Age of Empires IV. But we think that it will be available after the Definitive Edition Update of Age of Empires 2.
