Genshin Impact, an open-world game developed by the Chinese developer Mihoyo is coming to the PS5 this spring with enhancements.
Genshin Impact is on the way for PS5
In an official tweet from the official PlayStation Twitter account, we learn that Genshin Impact is coming to PS5. It will not be just a usual port to the next-generation console. In fact, it will have enhancements such as “enhanced visuals, fast loading, and DualSense controller support.”. Which is a good thing because we all know that Sony’s PS5 mostly has the previous-gen games in its library.
Genshin Impact is already a free-to-play game that you can give a try on your PS4. It also has cross-gen support. This means that you can play the game with your friends that play the game on PC, Android and iOS. It doesn’t matter actually. When Genshin Impact comes to PS5, you will be able to play with the people who own a PS5 too. Which is also a plus. A release date for the PlayStation 5 version is not available as of now; Sony said it’s coming “soon” in the spring.
Genshin Impact was originally released in September 2020 on Android and iOS devices, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. Some people also claim that the game will soon release on Nintendo Switch too. However, there is no news on the Xbox side. However, it should be good news for the PS5 users who like to play Genshin Impact.

When Genshin Impact first came out, people said that it was a game similar to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But they were wrong. Genshin Impact is a whole different story, even though the graphics look the same, the gameplay isn’t really similar. It eventually gives players a different vibe, which most of the RPG players will most likely love. Speaking of Zelda, you can read our Zelda: Link’s Awakening review by clicking here.
