It is finally here! Insomniac Games announced that their latest title Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is coming to Sony’s next-gen console PS5. We learn this exciting news from a post on the PlayStation Blog. Eventually, the title was announced for the next-gen consoles before. And it was supposed to release earlier. But it received a delay recently. So here we are. Finally, there is some information about the release date and more.

”Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a brand-new full-length adventure. When the evil Dr. Nefarious uses a device that can access alternate dimensions to find a galaxy where he always wins, Ratchet and Clank are separated. As they try to reunite, they will meet a new Lombax resistance fighter, explore new and familiar locales (but with new dimensional twists!), and wield a whole new arsenal of out of this world weapons.”

”This beautiful new piece speaks to the game’s theme of duality. Ratchet and Clank are the personification of opposites forming a more powerful whole and this theme is expanded even more through alternate-dimension counterparts of characters and worlds.” Says on the blog post of the title.

There will be two editions for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Digital Deluxe Edition and a Standard Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes five additional armour sets, 20 Raritanium, a sticker pack for photo mode, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack. Meanwhile, the Standard Edition includes only the base game. However, there is a chance that a season pass may arrive. So you can get the additional content for a relatively cheaper price in the future. The PS5 library keeps growing. Time will show us how big its library will be in the future.
