Samurai Shodown Xbox Series X and S Versions Announced

SNK Corporation announced today that Samurai Shodown is coming as a next-gen release for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

Samurai Shodown is in the gaming industry since 1993. Since then the series has become known for its unique characters and redefined weapon-based fighting mechanics. The newest title in the series is set in 18th century Japan, three years before the original game. Thirteen fan favourite characters return and there are also three brand new characters.

The latest release of Samurai Shodown will come to the Xbox Series X and S on 16th March 2021. On Xbox Series X, the game will run at a smooth 120 FPS. Owners of the Xbox One version will be able to play the game on Xbox Series X and S. Without any additional costs thanks to Smart Delivery. If you don’t like to own Samurai Shodown digitally, there will be a physical release for Xbox Series X and S thanks to Koch Media. Both the physical and digital versions of the title include Season Pass 1. And the brand new character Cham Cham once the respective DLC comes up. Both the physical and digital edition of the title on Xbox Series X and S will have a price tag of £49.99.

It is great that series like Samurai Shodown still exists in the gaming industry. And now, we will be able to see Samurai Shodown on the next-generation consoles Xbox Series X and S.
