Godfall Release Date Announced in PS5 Showcase Event

In last night’s PlayStation 5 Showcase event, Sony announced the price and release date. We also saw some new games for the next-gen console. God of War, Hogwarts Legacy and Final Fantasy XVI were the games we never heard anything before. And also, Sony announced the Godfall release date.

We all expect Godfall to reveal after the PS5 is out. And yesterday, Sony announced that Godfall will be revealed on 12 November. We can say that Godfall will be one of the first games of PlayStation 5. The game will also be available for PC. As we can see from the gameplay videos, Godfall will have different fighting dynamics. Players will be able to decide on their own styles with a variety of weapons. Those weapons will have their own specialities.

We don’t have much detail about the game still. The game will set in a world split into the realms of Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit. The players will control one of the last exalted Knight’s Order to prevent a major apocalyptic event. We know that players will be able to use longswords, dual blades, polearm, two-handed war hammer and the two-handed great sword. These weapons are based on which of their armour sets, Valorplates, they equip. Godfall will support single-player and up to three players cooperative mode.

Godfall is developed by Counterplay Games and will be published by Gearbox Publishing. As we said, Godfall release date is 12 November. Stay tuned, enjoy.
