New update for Wolfenstein II Switch version removes Swastikas from game
One of the best action FPS game of this generation, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was on 27 October 2017 and sold enough to make Bethesda happy. After its release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, developers also bring the game to the Nintendo’s handheld console, Nintendo Switch on Jun 29, 2018.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus update 1.2 removes Swastika symbol from the game
And today, it seems developers try to make the game little bit family friendly with a visual update. With new 1.2 update for the game, make the graphics little bit sharper and also removes the symbol of Nazi ideology, Swastika from the flags. The Swastika symbols were already removed from the German version of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The reason behind this removal might be a request from Nintendo. You can see the before and after patch comparison below.
UPDATE: It seems Swastika removal only occurred in German version of the Wolfenstein II.
