Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America is retiring after a long and enjoyable 15 years. He will be replaced by Doug Bowser, a close friend of his and also the VP of sales and marketing on top of being mentored by Reggie about the role to come. And before you ask, that is indeed his real name. Guess we aren’t getting Mario games anymore.

Reggie is a very iconic part of the company, adored and memed about by the entire fanbase. He appeared in many directs and E3s, presenting whatever the company had to offer next. Reggie has expressed his gratitude about everything he’s experienced during his time at Nintendo.
