SIE Global Second-Party Games head Gio Corsi leaves PlayStation

Sony Interactive Entertainment Global Second-Party Games head Gio Corsi announced on his Twitter account that the last week was his final week at PlayStation. Gio Corsi thanked all his supporters, colleagues, and PlayStation fans throughout his message. With the dismemberment of Corsi, it will be the end of an era at PlayStation that lasted 6 strong years.

Corsi joined the company back in 2013 during the PlayStation 4 run-up as the senior director of third-party production and developer relations. He was one of the main directors during the PlayStation Vita marketing and he transitioned to the second-party development position last year.

We as Play4UK wish Gio Corsi the best in his future endeavors. Let’s wait and see where Corsi lands his knowledge in the future as he also stated that he will be back in the games industry soon enough.

Video games have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been writing and managing in the game industry for more than 30 years. I've been playing Diablo 2 nonstop since it first came out.
