Metro animator Andrii ‘Nizrok’ Korzinkin died during the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Gameplay Designer Leonid Stepanov from Remedy Entertainment studio announced this sad news with his post.
As you know, a terrible war broke out when the Russian army invaded Ukraine in February. It is an undeniable fact that this war had many different effects. Recently, we came across another very sad news.
Metro Exodus Animator Andrii ‘Nizrok’ Korzinkin Died
Gameplay Designer Leonid Stepanov from Remedy Entertainment studio, in a Twitter post he shared, reported that Andrii ‘Nizrok’ Korzinkin, who had previously worked with 4A Games and was an animation designer in Metro games, died during the combat mission he participated in during the Ukraine war.

In his tweet, Leonid Stepanov said: “Andrii ‘Nizrok’ Korzinkin died while performing a combat mission in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. A talented animator, incredible person and real hero. Rest in peace, friend. We all miss you.”.
In his Twitter post, Stepanov said Korzinkin is a talented animator and added that Korzinkin is an incredible person and a true hero. In his later posts, he mentions that his friend has made many quality animations and that he was inspired by the work of Cory Barlog. So much so that he was impressed by his directing and cinematography and liked the way Barlog followed.
On this occasion, he expanded his skills and the skills required for game development. He wanted to create his dream project one day. Unfortunately, this will no longer be possible.
