Cyberpunk 2077 1.06 Hotfix Update Released

Cyberpunk 2077, a long-awaited by the game world, made its eventful debut on December 10. The game, whose first trailer was announced 7 years ago, hosted many errors and also caused performance problems on the console side. The game was then removed from the PS Store. However, the producer company CD Projekt RED continues to develop the game. Now, update 1.06 for Cyberpunk 2077 has been released.

The 1.06 update doesn’t contain many improvements and bug fixes, unlike the 1.05 update.

What Does The Cyberpunk 2077 1.06 Update Fix?

According to the patch notes posted on the Cyberpunk 2077 official site, version 1.06 could be considered an emergency update for minor fixes rather than major fixes. While the players stated that there were many errors related to the crash of the recording files and the Maelstrom task recently, the producer company did not want to wait too long for the update.

• Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

Console-specific

• Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

PC-specific

• Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.

While such minor updates are expected to come from time to time for Cyberpunk 2077, the main major updates are expected to be released in January and February. Although the game has debuted in an eventful way, it is believed that the pro-player CD Projekt RED will fix the game.

The Future of Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 Hotfix 1.06 is available on PC and consoles! Cyberpunk 2077, which made a disastrous debut after a long eight-year wait, will receive new updates in January and February.
