Last Oasis Reveals New Map

Last Oasis is a survival MMO developed and published by Donkey Crew that was released on March 26, 2020. The game introduces a new biome, a volcanic area that should provide a new set of challenges for new and existing players.

Donkey Crew showed off a new trailer for Last Oasis that showcased the latest map for the MMO game. The lava will be a key component of the map. It can change the landscape and force you to build your bases differently. There are also “giant winged lizards” that will threaten you and that players can hunt. Luckily for volcanic explorers, there is a water cannon that will freeze lava flows and allow walkers to cross safely without bursting into flames. A nomad on the ground can harvest fresh lava glass, perhaps for crafting more advanced items.

General information about the game, the game world is open-ended and built up of oases. Most interesting of all with these new oases is they have claimable territory. Granting clans the opportunity to make something of a base. And impose harvesting and tax bonuses for players arriving at their lands. As time passes, players must stay one step ahead of the sun, which burns so hot the land turns to dust in its wake. As new territories are freed from ice, players must travel to them and live off the land. You can also participate in a player-driven economy. With supply-and-demand principles in effect, you can run trade routes and try to track down the rarest resources.
