HONOR Play5 With 66W Fast-Charging Support Announced
The Honor Play5 model includes features such as Dimensity 800U chipset, 66W fast charging technology, and 64 MP resolution main camera.
Honor, leaving the Chinese technology manufacturer Huawei and establishing its own brand, announced a mid-range smartphone. The device, which offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels on its 6.53 inch OLED screen, has a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone fingerprint reader, which comes with a waterdrop notch design, is optically positioned under the screen. The phone, powered by MediaTek’s 7 nm MT6853 Dimensity 800U 5G chipset, is accompanied by 2 2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 and 6 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 processor cores. In addition to 8GB RAM memory and 128GB / 256GB storage options, the device, which does not allow the use of a microSDXC memory card, comes with the Mali-G57 MC3 graphics chip.

The device comes with a 64 MP resolution wide-angle main camera with f / 1.9 aperture, 8 MP resolution ultra-wide-angle lens, in addition to a 2 MP resolution depth and macro sensor with a triple camera setup. On the front of the device, there is a selfie camera that can record 1080p 30FPS video at 16 MP resolution.
The device, which has additional camera functions such as LED flash, HDR, and panorama, is accompanied by a gyro-EIS video sensor. In addition to all these sensors on the phone, 66W fast charging on the device that supports connectivity solutions such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, A2DP and LE Supported 3800 mAh capacity battery. In this way, the phone reaches 60% in 15 minutes and full in 35 minutes. The device, which comes out of the box with Black, Violet, and Light Blue color options, will run the Android 10-based Magic UI 4.0 (Google Play services off) operating system.
