Chinese smartphone producer OPPO announced the Reno5 Z 5G, the newest member of the Reno5 series. The new OPPO Reno5, which appeared as a mid-range smartphone, created a question mark for some users with its MediaTek processor instead of Qualcomm. Also, the new device is a highly controversial model with its price tag.
Coming with a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen, the new OPPO Reno5 is powered by Dimensity 800U, one of MediaTek’s most popular mid-segment processors. Offering sufficient memory capacity with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, Reno5 Z 5G promises a good user experience with Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1.
Oppo Reno5 Z 5G With Dimensity 800U Announced
OPPO announced the new Reno5, which we can call the F19 Pro + model that offers 30W fast charging instead of 50W. While the device lags behind its twin in terms of fast charging, it has an interestingly higher price tag. Offering a high screen/body ratio with its perforated screen design, Reno5 Z 5G offers 16 MP resolution in the selfie camera embedded in the hole on the screen. The smartphone, which has a quad-camera setup in the rectangular camera module on the back, offers an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, 2 MP macro, and 2 MP monochrome camera in addition to its 48 MP main camera.
