The 2021 Oscar Awards found their owners in a special ceremony. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, both remote connections and a face-to-face presentation were preferred in the night, where a hybrid presentation was made. In addition, the Oscar ceremony, which we are used to seeing in February under normal conditions, was held with a two-month delay due to pandemic conditions.
The movie that left its mark on the night was Nomadland. Nomadland, which also embraced the award for the best movie, left the night with 3 awards, while the Mank movie, which was nominated in 10 categories, embraced 4 Oscar sculptures.
Anthony Hopkins, on the other hand, won the Best Actor award once again after his role in The Silence of the Lambs for his excellent performance. This award also earned Hopkins the title of the actress who embraced the oldest Oscar award because she was 83 years old.
