Galaxy Note 9 Review by Samsung Family
The latest member of the Samsung Galaxy family, Note 9, follows the other members of the family in general. But also incorporates significant improvements. Samsung already had shown us what kind of issues: That they are going to emphasize on Note 9 before the introduction of the phone. The most important improvements to the phone, which includes many new features. That was made in SPen, storage, and battery part. In our Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review, we will look at the general features and the innovations in these topics.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Review
The Galaxy Note 9 with the Exynos 9810 processor follows the design of Note 8. Except for the changes in the back panel and the change of the oval structure on the sides. The phone is quite similar to Note 8. So when you put two models on the table, it can be difficult to understand the difference between them from a far distance. You start to realize the difference in the design when you hold the phone in your hand.
One of the most important factors that distinguish Note series from other models, as you know, SPen. This feature of the phone is much more advanced than previous models. Now with the Bluetooth feature, you can connect your phone to the SPen with the new features. Such as classic writing and drawing, also other new skills. Now you can wake your phone up with SPen even when it’s in sleep mode. And you can also access the camera mode remotely. The physical key on SPen helps us with issues such as photo-taking and media files. In other words, while you are looking at your photos and videos, you can make the transitions through your pen.
All these features make the Galaxy Note 9 a useful device for making presentations as in our review. You also allowed customizing this key for different tasks. Spen now has a charge problem, but it can charge in just 40 seconds, so the problem removed before it starts.
Two different models meet us on the storage side. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a storage capacity of 128 GB and a 6 GB RAM for one model. And there’s another model with 512 GB storage capacity and 8 GB RAM. Moreover, it is possible to increase the storage by 512 GB thanks to an external SD card. In other words, we can say that you will not have any problems with the phone in terms of photography and video storage.
What about Photos?
Speaking of photography, let’s talk about the camera features. Note 9 has 12 MP + 12 MP cameras on the back and there is an 8 MP Selfie camera on the front. The cameras on the back have an f1.5 + f2.4 aperture range. You can use the optical zoom and bokeh effect, I can say that camera features are similar to the Galaxy S9. So, of course, there are small improvements, but the S9 and S9 + models already have one of the highest quality photo experiences on the market. Note 9 follows these models and performs fulfilling in both low light and normal use.
As I said at the beginning, one of the most important improvements to the phone is the battery performance. Samsung, which had battery problems starting with Note 7, has made the necessary breakthroughs with Note 9 and presented a 4,000 MaH battery. The battery performance of the Galaxy Note 9 is very stable in our review, which makes it easy to survive 1 day in normal use. Still, in general, there are models that are better when it comes to battery life.
AMOLED Screen
With a 6.4-inch display, Note 9’s Super AMOLED screen is truly immense. In addition to features such as Always On, you see the advantages of a big screen. It’s really enjoyable to scribble something with a pen and watch media files on this big screen. By the way, the phone has Stereo speakers and AKG headphones.
As a result, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the ideal phone for those looking for a big-screen phone. If you’re thinking of buying a new phone and want to have a big screen, Note 9 should be one of the first models to look at. If you’re using the S8, Note 8, or one from the S9 family, let’s note that the transition to Note 9 isn’t going to be a big improvement.
