Shiver Studios is developing Mortal Kombat 11 for Nintendo Switch

Netherrealm has revealed details of Mortal Kombat 11 last week and lots of players liked what they see. Especially Nintendo Switch players are excited because they will play a new Mortal Kombat game in their consoles after a long time. But today Netherrealm made a statement about Mortal Kombat 11 Nintendo Switch version.

Mortal Kombat 11 is being developed by another studio for Nintendo Switch, not by Netherrealm

Mortal Kombat 11 produce Trevor Traub gave an interview to GameRevolution last week. In the interview he stated that Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11 is being developed by Shiver Studios, not by Netherrealm.

“We’re actually not developing it in house; it’s being developed by Shiver Studios. They’re developing it at the same time as us so it’s sort of a co-development. There is no lead SKU.” he stated.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on April 23, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. What do you think about that? Is Mortal Kombat 11 safe in Shiver Studios? Share your thoughts.
