Star Wars: Episode IX has officially wrapped filming
We can now officially get excited. Because Star Wars Episode IX has wrapped filming today. The director J.J. Abrahams just announced on Twitter that the filming has officially wrapped.

“It feels impossible, but today wrapped photography on Episode IX. There is no adequate way to thank this truly magical crew and cast. I’m forever indebted to you all.” Said J.J. Abrahams on his announcement. We also got to see the new trilogy trio Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Isaac). According to the photo we all got to see they are back on Jakku.
Star Wars: Episode IX’s casts are Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd. And, joining the cast of Episode IX are Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant, who will be joined by legendary Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian. Princess Leia also will be in the movie by using her unused footages from earlier movies.
Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters on December 20
