Ubisoft made fun of EA Games
The Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which was released in recent days and criticized in some ways, still succeeded to be very popular. There are quite a few side missions in the production that gives us two playable characters. One of these side missions is referring to EA Games. When Star Wars Battlefront 2 came out, an EA Games employee responded to a user comment about the “pay to win” situation on Reddit and he got the most negative score on his response, made a history in Reddit.

The player, who gave 80 dollars to play the game but could not open Darth Vader, was responded by EA employee with: the goal is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment by unlocking different heroes. Ubisoft used this response in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If you want to buy the item you are going to earn by fighting with money instead of fighting, NPC responds you with “where is your pride and accomplishment sense”. To give such an answer to the Pay to Win option is quite clever.
