AC Milan for eFootball: Konami signs with Italian football club

Konami announced that they have signed a long-term partnership agreement with AC Milan for eFootball, one of the most established clubs in the Italian league. The company had previously announced its cooperation with Italian teams such as Atalanta and Napoli. The details of this long-term cooperation and the official statement are as follows;

The partnership will officially start on 1 July 2022 and will cover a range of license rights, including 3D face scans of players, including AC Milan’s stadium, San Siro, and fully licensed kits such as Home, Away and Goalkeeper. It is stated that the integration process of license rights will start from the summer of 2022. In addition, Konami became the first “Official Training Wear Partner” in AC Milan’s history as part of the partnership. The men’s training kit will feature the eFootball logo on the front and will be released in the next few months along with other details of the partnership.

Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan’s Chief Financial Officer, expressed his feelings with these words, “We are delighted that Konami has joined the AC Milan family as one of our Main Partners and is our first Training Wear Partner for the men’s team. The potential of this collaboration has inspired us both as a club and as a brand. It also excites us as it will enable us to break new ground together.”
