Acer, one of the stars of the gaming laptop market, announced the Acer Predator Triton 500 SE gaming laptop, powered by the Tiger Lake H-based Intel Core i9-11980HK processor and the Ampere architecture NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. Offering 1600 x 2560 pixels FHD+ resolution on its 16-inch LED screen, the device has a 165Hz refresh rate and 1250 nits screen brightness, depending on the configuration. The LED panel with a response time of 3 ms offers realistic colors and high brightness and contrast even in low lighting conditions. The outer case made of metal material, on the other hand, is only 19.9 mm thin despite such strength.
Offering processor options up to Intel’s Tiger Lake H-based Core i9-11980HK model and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 model with Ampere graphics architecture, the computer can switch between internal and external graphics with NVIDIA Optimus technology. In addition, the model, which offers 64GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM memory options, has PCI Gen4 type 4 TB SSD solutions on the storage side. The backlit chiclet keyboard, on the other hand, has been kept large thanks to its edge-to-edge design. When we look at the input and output connections of the device, we see that it has Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 ethernet card, Intel Killer E3100 controller, DTS: X Ultra sound card, Killer management panel, Thunderbolt 4 support and SD 7.0 support.
