Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red acknowledged that the PC platform mods for Cyberpunk 2077 has a vulnerability that paves the way for remote code execution. The company warned the players about the Cyberpunk 2077mods and dll files.
As we all know, CDPR’s long awaited game Cyberpunk 2077 was far from meeting the expectations. The game had lots of bugs and problems at launch. And even CDPR released patches, the problems still occur. But with the new official mod support, gamers are still playing the game with mods. But today, players who play Cyberpunk 2077 on the PC platform received an important warning from CD PROJEKT RED.
CDPR shared a warning on their Twitter account about the mods players downloaded from the internet could currently be dangerous for their security. According to the tweet, a vulnerability in the game can be exploited by some people through mods.
If you plan to use @CyberpunkGame mods/custom saves on PC, use caution. We've been made aware of a vulnerability in external DLL files the game uses which can be used to execute code on PCs. Issue will be fixed ASAP. For now, please refrain from using files from unknown sources.

Solution Came with Another Mod
This week, the problem raised by Red Tools mod team member PixelRickyRick and Reddit user Romulus_Is_Here. CDPR said that the vulnerability is thought to be limited only the PC version of the game. But PixelRickyRick stated that the PlayStation 4 version also has a vulnerability. But solution came with another Cyberpunk 2077 mods. The Cyber Engine Tweaks mode, which improves the performance of the game and fixes the bugs in the game, included a solution that fixes the vulnerability in its latest version.
