Driveclub Servers are Closing on March 2020

Developed by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Playstation 4 exclusive racing game Driveclub’s servers will shut down in 2020. During the launch period the game had a big number of players and enjoyed the golden era while the servers were filled. But the latest announcement of SCE declared that Driveclub’s servers will be no longer available on next year March and the game will be delisted from Playstation Store on August 2019. After that, Driveclub, Driveclub VR and Driveclub Bikes will only have single player features.

Driveclub online servers will go dark in 2020

Launched in 2014, Driveclub lost the major part of its fan-base because of lack of content and events, like many online-dependent games. Sony Computer Entertainment promised a Playstation Plus edition to fix this problem and add more content, yet it took a whole year to fulfill this promise and the latest product was not good enough to satisfy the players that enjoy racing games. And after the latest DLC in 2016, the developer company Evolution Games shut down.

What do you think about this policy of SCE, is it a late move ?
