God of War Ragnarok Release Date Leaked

God of War Ragnarok is being developed by Santa Monica Studio and will be released as a PlayStation exclusive game. Although the game is normally developed for the next generation, it will also release for PlayStation 4. Santa Monica has only offered one gameplay trailer to God of War fans, and no new information about the game has been released since. But a leak in the PlayStation database today shows us when God of War Ragnarok will be released.

A Twitter user named Justinxrubin claimed that the exact release date of God of War Ragnarok has been leaked in the PlayStation database. Justin works as a PlayStation QA Tester and his profession somewhat strengthens his claim. Such leaks are rarely true. God of War Ragnarok was announced last year, and only the game’s logo was shown that day.

After a long development period (still in development), we were presented with a gameplay trailer this year. Some people watching the trailer thought that the new game would come with completely renewed graphics and animations.

Instead, the graphics were slightly better than before and most animations remained the same. Such decisions taken during the development phase have always accelerated the process. Aside from the development process, it is unclear exactly when the game will be released. Santa Monica has not yet given a clear release date. Although the date in the database shows September 30, 2022, it may just be a “Place-Holder”. Place-Holder is frequently used in databases and allows you to allocate space for elements to be added. For the correct release date, it is always necessary to wait for the developer studio’s announcement.
