Season 8 episodes seem quite long

Day by day we are getting closer to the premiere of the 8th and the last season of Game of Thrones, and with that, new information has been released regarding the six chapters that comprise it. To avoid any speculation, HBO offered the date and duration of each new episode of Game of Thrones. With the exception of the first two chapters, the rest will have the length of a movie.

Game of Thrones season 8 episodes

  • Episode 1 (April 14th): 54 minutes
  • Episode 2 (April 21st): 58 minutes
  • Episode 3 (April 28th): 1 hour 22 minutes
  • Episode 4 (May 5th): 1 hour 18 minutes
  • Episode 5 (May 12th): 1 hour 20 minutes
  • Episode 6 (May 19th): 1 hour 20 minutes

The total duration of the six episodes is similar in times to what previous seasons of the series offered. Game of Thrones, season 8, will premiere through the HBO channels and its streaming platform. The names of each chapter remain unconfirmed to avoid spoiler that could reveal the future of the protagonists. What everyone is impatient to see is Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow alliance to face the threat of the night walkers, who now have a converted dragon.
