14 Years Later, World Ends With You Sequel Is Coming

Square Enix announced the game Neo The World Ends With You. In The World Ends With You, there are actually busy times these days. The World Ends With You first released for Nintendo DS in 2007. Later released for Nintendo Switch along with mobile platforms. Set in an alternative world similar to Tokyo’s Shibuya district, we witnessed the story of a character named Neku Sakuraba.  He stuck in a game starring Reaper.

Square Enix even announced an anime that works the same as the first game. The new trailer of The World Ends With You the Animation series released yesterday. This animated series will publish in 2021. When we look at the date of the sequel, it stated that it will release in the summer, although the exact date is not given. Apparently, Square Enix will be releasing the animated series for those who haven’t played it first or those who will remember it again.
