New Xbox console may include an Internal Physics Engine
As we still enjoy the current generation consoles like PS4 and Xbox One, it is not a secret both Sony and Microsoft are working on their next generation consoles. Yesterday, some rumors started to spread through internet about the next Xbox Console and apparently Microsoft’s new gaming console comes up with interesting features which affects both players and game developers. Rumors are pointing that the new Xbox console has a special onboard module that also works as an internal physics engine. If this rumor is true, it can provide plenty of possibilities for game developers on their next projects.
Also some other rumors mention that the next generation Xbox console will be on market with two different variations, and they are called Lockhart and Anaconda. These are the possible features of these two Xbox consoles:
Xbox Lockhart Specifications:
- CPU: Custom 8 Cores – 16 Zen threads 2
- GPU: Custom NAVI 4 Teraflops
- RAM: 12GB of GDDR6 Memory
- Storage: 1TB NVMe 1 plus GB / s SSD hard drive
Xbox Anaconda Specifications:
- CPU: Custom 8 Cores – 16 Zen threads 2
- GPU: Custom NAVI 12 Teraflops
- RAM: 16 GB of GDDR6 memory
- Storage: 1TB NVMe 1 plus GB / s SSD Hard drive
