Rockstar Released Red Dead Redemption 2 Patch 1.07

Rockstar Games quietly released a new patch for its blockbuster game ”Red Dead Redemption 2”. As we mentioned before, the previous update came with graphics downgrade and completely removed Ambient Occlusion from the game. This move was criticized by many fans, however new patch did not bring it back to the game or made any change in visuals.

  • Addressed issues with save data.
  • Added fixes for exploits with Red Dead Redemption 2 version 1.07.
  • RDR2 version 1.07 added fixes for crashing issues.
  • Fixed stuttering/lag issues.
  • RDR2 update 1.07 has fixed few glitches.
  • Added fixes for framerate drop and freezing issues.
  • Added performance and stability improvements.

Red Dead: Redemption 2 Patch 1.07 takes 1.248GB space from your storage and it seems mainly focuses on fixing minor bugs and gameplay problems. After the release of the patch, RD:R2 and GTA: Online servers went under maintenance for awhile then got available again for players. Let’s see if Rockstar Games will take a step to bring Ambient Occlusion to RD:R2 again.
