The company is preparing a new launch of the Galaxy Fold
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is the most controversial smartphone of the year. After several US journalists found flaws in their test units the week in which the smartphone should have reached the hands of consumers, the South Korean firm had postponed the launch of the product indefinitely. Now the first foldable phone might finally reach the market in the upcoming weeks.
This was announced by the CEO of the company's Electronics division, DJ Koh:"[The company>> has reviewed the defect caused by substances and we will reach a conclusion in a couple of days."
During the past days, Samsung has been evaluating the devices of the journalists who reported the failures due to the removal of the protective layer that covers the screen. Everything seems to be solved; the protection has been strengthened and the space between the protective layer and the phone reduced.
Only once it finally arrives at the market we will be able to know if the Samsung Galaxy Fold will keep its promises.
