Snapdragon 888 Chipset Introduced
Qualcomm said the Snapdragon 888 chipset houses the third generation of the Elite Gaming platform that offers “the most significant upgrade in Adreno GPU performance”. Also, the sixth-generation artificial intelligence algorithm, built on the Hexagon processor, offers 26 TOPS computing capacity. So, for a slight comparison, the Snapdragon 865 chip had 15 TOPS power, and Apple’s M1 chip had 11 TOPS power. In addition, the chipset promises high energy savings with Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon X60 5G modem.
It stated that the chip, which supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 communication technologies for local wireless connectivity, will triple the future of photography. So, turn smartphones into professional-quality cameras.
