The Uncharted Movie: Positive comments from Tom Holland

New remarks came from Tom Holland for the Uncharted Movie, which was writhing in a thousand difficulties and changed its directors many times. It is admirable that the Uncharted movie is still not canceled. So far, expectations for the film, which has lost six full directors, have decreased significantly. Travis Knight, who sat in the director’s chair after David O. Russel, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon, Shawn Leyn, and Dan Trachtenberg, left the film once again. The film, which is expected to be released on December 18, 2020, was delayed until March 5, 2021.

There is still a very excited person about the film in the process dominated by all these unfortunate series of adventures. This person is none other than Tom Holland, who will play Nathan Drake and became famous with Marvel Cinematic Universe. He made very positive reviews about the movie and said it had the best script he’s ever read. 

Speaking with IGN, the British actor said: “I read the newest draft of the script on the way over here and it’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read. It really, really jumps off the page.”

He continued: “I think what Uncharted Movie offers that most video games films don’t is that it’s an origin story to the games. So, if you played the games, you haven’t seen what’s going to happen in the film. And if you haven’t played the games, you’re going to enjoy the film. Because it’s information that everyone else is getting at the same time. But I’m super excited to make that movie and it’s been a long time coming.” 

Is Tom Holland right in his opinion?

In a sense, we can say that Tom Holland is right. Many video game movies add many events that the game players have known from the beginning to attract game fans. This causes actors to see the film only as a benchmark rather than enjoy watching a story they know what to do and how. Perhaps this is the reason why movies adapted from video games are not able to hold some kind of stitch. The Uncharted Movie can please many actors and people who are not familiar with the brand if Tom Holland tells a completely different story and will eventually be connected with the game. 

Mark Wahlberg, who we know from Transformers, will play Victor Sullivan, one of the iconic characters of the Uncharted series. Holland, who also has positive thoughts about his co-star, says that he will do a really good job and watch Sully with a high level of pleasure.
