Microsoft is giving a new year gift to all players with Xbox Games With Gold. This month, Xbox One players can get WRC FIA World Rally Championship and Celeste. Xbox 360 players can get Far Cry 2 and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. These games also have backward compatible and can be played on Xbox One.

- WRC 6 FIA World Rally Championship – 16 January – 15 February
- Celeste – 1 January – 31 January
Xbox 360 Games With Gold and Dates
- Far Cry 2 (85% on Metacritic) 16 January – 31 January
- Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (85% on Metacritic) 1 January – 15 January
