Kurt “Kurt0411” Fenech, one of the professional FIFA players, was banned indefinitely from all EA Games games and services. A new one was added to the tensions experienced between companies and publishers from time to time. We have to say that what happened while both sides accused each other was quite interesting.

FIFA pro player Kurt ‘Kurt0411’ Fenech has been banned from EA Games

Kurt Fenech had similar attitudes before. But the roving of this banning ignited Kurt Fenech’s latest FIFA 20 broadcast in November. Fenech is highly critical of EA on his YouTube channel and his Twitter account, which has 93.9K followers, accusing the company of “tyranny” and “bullshit.” And then spit repeatedly into a scarf with the company logo. In the past, he has been vocally critical of certain aspects of the latest FIFA game, recently stating that EA has “done everything this year but look at themselves and admit they fucked it. They killed their game and their ‘esport’.”

After this broadcast, the player banned from FIFA 20 and removed from the EA Sports FIFA Global Series calendar continued his attacks on social media and broadcasts. As a result, EA Games banned Kurt ‘Kurt0411’ Fenech, a professional FIFA player, from all their games and services as well as FIFA games.

“Honestly, it was not enough to ban me from EA Sports events,” said Fenech. “Banning my Twitch and Youtube accounts was not enough. Now they have closed my Fut Founder account, which I have been using for over 10 years. I can’t find a word to say.”

What was the statement of EA games?

“Kurt “Kurt041” Fenech was part of the EA Sports FIFA Global Series. In November 2019, after a series of Code of Conduct violations as part of the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series in which he threatened employees and other players, Kurt0411 was banned from competing or attending any EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series events or future competitions.

Since that time, Kurt “Kurt041” Fenech has continued to post abusive and threatening messages and videos about EA employees and competitive players on social media and he has encouraged others to do the same. His messages have crossed a line of decency into very personal attacks and breach our Terms of Service. We will not tolerate threatening behavior. As a result, today Kurt0411’s EA account will be banned from playing our games and accessing our services due to these serious and repeated violations.” EA Games explained.

Indicating that it is one of the main goals of players to have fun and create player communities, EA officials also stated that they want to create a safe and peaceful game environment for everyone.

Below you can see the tweet of DrJarba including Kurt “Kurt041” Fenech ranting at EA before spitting on the company logo. It’s a really shocking video!

This is the VOD that Kurt got banned for, I am all for freedom of speech but this is disgusting behaviour. How are you going to spit on the logo of a company that you want to be a professional esports athlete for. I know I am going to get stick for this but he deserves the ban. pic.twitter.com/oJmlifBFLU

We’d like to share his last tweet today. He said,  “End of the day I have never said anything I shouldn’t have. This is just deeper than anyone thinks. They didn’t want me competing at events cos they were scared I’d win them, now I’m the 2nd biggest streamer of their game and they’re scared I’ll overtake their golden boy.”

As a result, we all see what happened and also like many people, we support the decision of EA Games.
