God of War leads NAVGTR nominees with record 22 nominations
The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers, a 501 non-profit media organization of 1,100 media voters and 8,895 subscribers, has announced nominees for its 18th annual awards program honoring video game art, technology and production.
NAVGTR Nominees
The NAVGTR Awards honor 59 competitive categories recognizing achievement in animation, art direction, character design, controls, game design, game engineering, musical score, sound effects, writing, and more. Since its inception, the academy has recognized over 3,600 talented individuals.
Leading all games with a record 22 nominations is God of War, followed closely behind by Marvel’s Spider-Man with 21. Dead Cells earned the highest number of nominations for an independent title with five.
What is War of Awards?
“War of Awards” is a campaign designed to engage the entire gaming population in the elite horse race of video game awards season, culminating in the live “War of Awards” rally where supporters anoint the best of the season’s winners.
