Hugo Weaving Confirmed: He Will Not Be In LOTR TV Series
Famous Hollywood star Hugo Weaving has confirmed that he will not appear in the Lord of the Rings TV series. Elrond, one of the characters in the Lord of the Rings series. So Elrond played by Hugo Weaving. Also, he played the successful actor in Peter Jackson’s film trilogy and later in The Hobbit films.
Hugo Weaving knew for taking part in films that have achieved significant success so far. The actor played the role of Agent Smith in The Matrix series. Besides he played the role of the Red Skull in Captain America: The First Avenger.
Hugo Weaving Not Interested in Playing Elrond
Many Lord of the Rings fans thought Hugo Weaving would return to his role for the TV series. Producers announced that the series will take place in the Second Age of Middle-earth. That is the time at a time when Elrond was very prominent and would appear abundantly on screen.
However, Hugo Weaving confirmed in an interview with Journalists that he will “never revive” the character of Elrond again. There are also rumours to feature Weaving in The Matrix 4. According to Screen Rant’s report, the actor clarified the rumours with the following statements:
“No way. Absolutely, no way. Matrix’ might have happened,” he says. “But ‘Lord of the Rings,’ no, I would never — I’m not interested in that at all. Look, I loved being in New Zealand with all those great people, and it was like going back to a family but actually, to be honest, I think everyone had more than enough of it.”
If we discuss about Matrix 4, Hugo Weaving confirmed: “loved a lot of it and wasn’t sure about other bits. Ultimately, we talked about it and when the offer came through to do it for Warner’s I said yes the next day and I talked to Lana. ” Weaving said he still had mixed feelings for this script.
