Marvel’s Avengers campaign length is now certain

Even though the Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix's upcoming Marvel's Avengers game is still far away, Rich Briggs has certain knowledge about the campaign length. Comicbook.com spoke to Crystal Dynamics Senior Brand Director Rich Briggs about Avengers' campaign length and how it may vary depending on player choices. Tomb Raider fans are pretty familiar with Crystal Dynamics and their overall game design. So it's possible that we see a 30 plus hours game if the player decides to do all the side missions.

“I think it'll depend on exactly how deep you want to go into it. So if you think about previous Crystal games, you know that if you want to be playing your way through the core story, it's going to be in that area, 10 to 12 hours.” Briggs said. Briggs also stated that “We're not putting exact numbers on it just yet, but you can expect something comparable to what we've done in the past with that regard. And then, of course, you have the extended narrative and the extended game plan, more heroes post-launch.”

Marvel's Avengers will be out on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia on May 15th, 2020. If you want more Marvel's Avengers check out the new Kamala Khan reveal trailer from New York Comic-Con below.

Video games have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been writing and managing in the game industry for more than 30 years. I've been playing Diablo 2 nonstop since it first came out.
