Call of Duty Halloween Event: The Haunting of Verdansk

Activision has released a new Halloween-themed event in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. The new theme offers many seasonal contents to the game. It includes licensed tie-ins with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and SAW. The trailer looks outstanding with zombies and the puppet from Saw. Call of Duty Halloween Event: The Haunting of Verdansk

The Haunting of Verdansk starts off from today, presents two movie-themed bundles. SAW bundle offers a Billy the Puppet skin, and special throwing knife the Phlebotomozier as well as a bunch of other SAW cosmetics for your equipment and vehicles. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre bundle lets you get Leatherface and the ‘Family Heirloom’ skin for the LMG as well as a few new weapon cosmetics and Blueprints.

Additionally, there is a new game mode called “Trick or Treat” event. The event offers supply boxes containing various treats in the form of blueprints, charms, stickers, sprays and more. Zombie Royale is another new mode for the event. Every Operator killed on the battlefield will return as a souped-up member of the undead who can only use melee attacks. They will have increased speed, jumping ability, a lethal melee attack and thermal vision. Any zombies will able to nab two syringes dropped by dead players. Then they will get a chance to return to the world of the living.

Puppet and the Leatherface in Call of Duty Halloween Event

Moreover, the event includes more operator skins, jack-o-lantern heads for players who gain a killstreak of 3 or more and Onslaughter and Snipers Only modes in Multiplayer. Also includes the JAK 12 shotgun and the chance to see Verdansk in a new nighttime configuration. The Haunting of Verdansk event runs in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. Call of Duty Halloween event has started for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from today and will last till November 3.
